Colorism Healing Writing Contest The purpose of the Colorism Healing Writing Contest is to raise awareness about colorism among all people and to provide a productive, creative outlet for self-expression and healing. The 2018 Colorism Healing Writing Contest (CHWC) runs January 1 st – April 30 th. The Colorism Essays and Poems anthology features the best writing submitted to the 2017 Colorism Healing Writing Contest. The submission period for the 2020 CHWC is Saturday, February 1 – Sunday, March 15.
