Whatever I am thinking I am writing in Hindi because I feel that whatever I want to say will touch your heart if I write in Hindi. Hindi is our national language.
I belong to a poor family. My father is the only earning member in my family and he is the one who feeds everyone else in our family. Inspite of being a farmer, my father has fulfilled all demand of his four sons and one daughter.
Right from childhood, I wanted to do something in my life so that my father would feel proud of me. My entire family believes that I will do something good in life.
I had heard about Dakshana in 10th class. Whenever I saw the seniors in my school who went ahead with this coaching , I also thought that I will also join this coaching after my 10th class.I cannot express my feelings when I got selected to appear for the Dakshana test.4 students had appeared for the test from my school.We had not even prepared properly for the examination. We thought that if we have some luck we will clear the exam. I was not hopeful of even 1 % that I would get selected in the exam. But all my friends asked me not to worry and that I would get selected. One day, when I was sitting in my class, my principal called me and said that I have been selected and will have to go Bangalore for further coaching. For a moment I thought that I was dreaming but then I realized that it was actually happening. I had my eyes filled with tears in happiness .When I told everyone else about it, they were all happy for me. Everyone told me that I am very lucky that I got this chance.
I am a girl from a village and never thought that I would study in Bangalore. But today my dream has come true. When I told about it at home , then my parents were also very happy about it.
Now when I have been selected , I feel that I can also do something.
I am not a very brilliant student who knows about everything. We did not have a very good study environment in our school. I did not work very hard for my class 10th exam because of which I am facing difficulty in understanding some portions of my study now. But I trust myself that I can do this job. I also believe that when I sit for the IIT JEE exam after 2 years , I will be successful. I will try my best and will study very hard. I will work hard to fulfil my parent?s and my dream.
I have more respect for all of you than for my parents. It is because of you that we are here today.if you were not there, we would never thought that we would study in Bangalore. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart as you are helping us in fulfilling our dream. If I was not selected here, my parents would have never been able to support me for this. I also would not have been able to take coaching in such a good institute. All of you are spending money for our education and are fulfilling the dreams of many poor people like us. I promise you that the way you are helping us today, we will also be like you and look forward to help others.
