When I was in my 8th class, My teacher Dr. D. K. Marg told me about Dakshana that this is an organization which gives free coaching for IIT ? JEE.I belong to a family which cannot educate me beyond my 12th class. I pledged to myself that I will clear the IIT JEE exam by studying myself because my family cannot afford it for me. When I reached my 10th standard, Dakshana gave me an opportunity to sit in its entrance examination. Among my classmates, the names of only 5 students was there in the list. I made it a point to clear the Dakshana exam. Prior to the exam ,I worked hard and went to lucknow for appearing for the exam. While appearing for the exam , I had strange thoughts in my mind wether I will be able to make it or not. I always felt that I will be able to clear the exam.
I found the exam easy and I completed it without any fears. On my way back home I thought that if I did not clear this exam, I will not be able to clear the IIT JEE exam. But I had faith in my hard work.

My name was present in the result sheet. I was very unhappy because of this. I was disappointed for once but had complete faith that I could make it to the IIT by studying myself. I increased the time for my study hours and started working harder. After some days , I got to know that I also have been selected by Dakshana. I was really happy to hear the news. I started preparing for joining Dakshana with the hope that I will crack IIT JEE anyhow.I felt bad leaving my old school and friends but could curb the feeling with my desire to crack IIT exam. When I reached Dakshana Bangalore, I could find a very good environment for study.I have started studying with all other Dakshana scholars and have it in mind that I have to achieve my aim.
We met Col R K Sharma on 1st October,2009 and he encouraged us to study harder.I am inspired by him and have it in mind that after I complete my studies from IIT, I will also help other poor children by providing them education for free.I am confident that I will make it through the IIT JEE examination because I like the teaching which is being given by the teachers of Dakshana.
Now I will just say one thing , ? Dont worry about the world, don?t worry where you will live,If you want to worry, then just worry about one thing, to make another sun rise in the sky.
