JNV West Khasi Hills I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
my father Bilikraham Wanniang, he is uneducated working as a farmer as well as labourer.My mother Skian Nongrang she also a farmer ,my mother like to wake up early in the morning and she never want to stay home without doing any work. i have two brothers both of them are married also they are a labourer who always like to keep on working.i have three sister all are married and unemployed
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
In our area we never aware about IITJEE and there is no one who dream about it, also there is no coaching centre and my parent can't afford for the private coaching as we are from a poor family. and that is why i put Dakshana as my first target to get it so that i can prepare well for IITJEE
Q3. What is your ambition in life?
Since my childhood when my teacher asking me about my ambitiom i always answer them that i would like tobe an engineer. also deep down in my heart i want tobe a motivator or a motivational speaker after I became successful so that I can raise someone else when they have no hope in their life.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I've been raise in a a rural area where where everyone never take the study seriuosly, also in my state everyone of us are lacking behind in education. So as a student that i've been raise in this siociety i have a responsibility that I will do something for my nation base on education that i have to motivate to inspire and lead the one who are behind me after i became successful
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better?
when i look back at my family problem and my locality it make my heart touch that we are facing a problem in many ways due to the lack of education . so that is why this incident inspire and motivate me to keep on studying and working hard so that i can change something new for my NATION
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies?
when i were at my own village i like to todo working with my parents in field. but most of the time i like to keep on studying, especially the holy book BIBLE
