Q1. Introduce your family to us ? ……………..I Sunandan belong to a family of farmer in a rural area of west Bengal. My father Sukanta Dey is a farmer and only source of income in my family is agriculture. My mother, Jharna Dey is a housewife, and being the only child of my family, i have no brother or sister. All my immediate uncles are farmers and do farming for living.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship ……………..DAKSHANA scholarship is for rural children who are economically backward, i am from such a family and think I am able to fit for dakshana scholarship.
it will be hard for me to compete for NEET,if I am not able to get dakshana scholarship , I will drop 1 year and will practice more and more for NEET.
Q3. What is your ambition in life ……………..I have seen in rural areas in hospitals there is official doctors but hardly they are physically present there, being a rural boy its my aim to be a good doctor andserve the rural peoples.
Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful …………….In everywhere, the rural areas are lacking behind in every services, I after being successful will contribute to the development of rural areas.
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better……………..Once in a bustand due to some stupid behaviour of one mad person, i have heard one to tell that illiterate, rural man, that have motivated me to do betterand prove to the world that rural peoples are not stupid and illiterate rather they have heart and are more developed, and when given oppurtunity they could do better.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies ……………..I like to read the books , related to human psychology and physiology and also story book . planting trees are also one of my hobbies.
