I am Soniya, a student of greatest Dakshana Foundation. I think that I am very luckiest person because I have been selected for IITJEE coaching on free cost at Bangalore by the Dakshana organisation. My father?s name is Mr Vinod Barmate and he was studied only upto 8th class. Now he is just a simple electrician. And my mother, Mrs Savita Barmate is a housewife. And I have one brother and two sisters and all three are younger than me. I come here only for my family because my father wasn?t able to pay a high cost for my IIT JEE coaching. I am very happy that God has given me a very sweet family and also given me a greatest opportunity so that I am able to fulfill my parents? dream and my own dream. I don?t what I can write about me. I think that I am a very lucky person because my luck always comes with me. Firstly, I was selected for writing the Dakshana examination. And secondly, I got selected in the Dakshana exam. Actually I had just written the exam as a formality because I could not do any practice for the exam. On the day of the exam I went and wrote the exam just like any ordinary class test. After the exam, I forgot all about the exam. But when I got selected for Dakshana Foundation then I will be extremely happy from here. I know it was nothing but my luck that I was selected because I can never think that I would be selected. After this news, all my classmates are also very happy and I gave them a party for my success.
When I told about my selection to my parents, they became very happy but also sad because they do not want to send me so far away from them. But to gain something you have lose something too.
My ideal person, my uncle, Mr Kundan Barmate, told me that such a good opportunity does not come always. So, you will go for this happily. I have learnt so many things from my uncle. He is a very great person. He always suggests that I do good things. He is just like my best friend and I am very frank with him.
I think that only a lucky person can have a hostel life. At first, when I came to the JNV I thought that hostel life is the sadest moment of life. But, actually after I came to JNV I learnt so many new things. Now we all are very special students because we got selected from thousands of students of all JNV of India.
After I came here, I know that life will be full of competitions. Here I can meet with so many talented students from different parts of India. When I knew that we have no vacations upto 2 years, then firstly I feel very sad. But after thinking it over, I feel that it is a right decision for us. But now, we have summer vacation for 15 days. It was the happiest news for my parents. Therefore I want to go home for only 15 days for my parents and my brothers and sisters.
Now I want to become an IITian. It is not only my aim but also my dream. I want to become a successful person. I think that success means not only earn so much money. But when I can fulfill my parents? dream then I will be a successful person.
