I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend IIT because it is my destination to do so and become a successful engineer. My father left this world when I was only about 4 months. My mother then took us (me my brother and sister) to a town and started to teach us. Till the end of VIII class, I didn't know anything about the world's competitions, IITs and IIT coaching institutes. I didn't know what was physics and what chemistry and so on. It was in IX class that I got admission in JNV and teachers taught us in a very different way from my last school. So, I got interested into studies and started to make my maths strong. But from Jan 2014 to Feb 2015, I didn't study in a way as in class IX due to some reasons and because of this my CGPA fell down to 9.2. When the eligible students for GDST were announced, I was also in it. It was my last chance to get coaching from an institute (as I cannot afford coaching from other sources because of financial problem) and worked hard for it and got selected. I shall be very grateful to Dakshana Foundation if I get a very good rank in IIT-JEE.
