I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT because when I was studying in IV standard I heard about the IITs, and since desired to join them. However, it was only a dream when I compared it with my economic background. With any coaching for IIT-JEE, it would be too difficult to join IIT, but IIT coaching is too costly. I became aware of the opportunity to join the Dakshana foundation. Dakshana s gifted but impoverished students who aspire to attend the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) but cannot afford to be coached professionally by world class IIT-JEE coaching institutes. This led me to become a Dakshana scholar and receive IIT-JEE coaching and hopefully attend IIT. I became a eligible for a Dakshana scholar since I met all the conditions. I know if I become a Dakshana scholar it will not be difficult to get into IIT. As IIT is the ultimate destination and being a Dakshana scholar is a way to get there I thereby give my consent to be known as a Dakshana scholar. It is my privilege.
