I’d like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT because it has been my dream to be an IIT?ian since I was a child. Though I am poor, I have been given hope through Dakshana. Dakshana has given opportunity for poor children who have an interest in IIT but cannot afford coaching. Dakshana provides free tuition, lodging, boarding and other materials for education. Through this support, poor students can come forward and improve their standard of living. Thus our nation?s poverty can be reduced and we can move towards progress and develop further. At present, only rich students are able to attend ITT coaching classes, but due to Dakshana?s scholarship, the rules have changed. Now students from poor families can receive coaching classes.
