Q1. Introduce your Family to us ?
My father, Mr. Yugul Kishor Singh , is a farmer and the only breadwinner for my family.Being the sole earning member, he toils hard in own field and sometimes in other's fields as well to earn livelihood. My mother, Mrs. Pushpawati Devi, is a home-maker. She takes care of all the household chores and is very humble and patient. She is very encouraging and always motivates me to be a better person. I love her a lot. My brother, Deepak Singh ,studies in grade 12 in a government school. He is a social person. My immediate uncles work in bakery to earn their living.

Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship?
The circumstances of my family put financial obstacles on my higher education. I have studied on a full scholarship in VidyaGyan School, Sitapur for past seven years. I aspire to achieve my dreams and become successful in life. Later in my life , I want to become a social reformer and help every underprivileged, meritorious student to fly high in open sky and realize their dreams. If I don't get selected to be a Dakshana scholar, it will only boost my energy to work hard to the fullest of my potential and achieve my dreams. I will seek scholarships or education loans to pursue my higher studies.

Q3. What is your ambition in life?
Primarily, I have two ambitions in my life. I want to put a smile on my parents face and give them a comfortable happy life for all the sacrifices and pains they endured to keep me going happily in life. Secondly, I want every children in this world to dream big. I would give wings to their imagination so that they can also break vicious cycle of perpetual state of poverty and lead a happy and successful life.

Q4. How would you like to contribute to the society and the world when you become a successful?
I belong to a place where I have seen and personally challenged the obstacles that the poor families have to face. Life is not easy for everyone born in this world. The poor children hardly have access to quality education and they end up doing meagre jobs in their life. I believe education is the single most powerful tool for social and individual change. Thus after I become successful, I will ensure quality education to all the needy students so that their dreams are not shattered due to any hindrances.

I love talking to my friends,playing games and pondering over fascinating ideas to make this earth a better place to live in. I help my juniors regarding their queries. I also love to spend time with my mother and share happiness and laughter together.
