Posted July 28, 2012 (edited) Most people write IEW for Institute for Excellence in Writing and EIW for Essentials in Writing, but sometimes people use EIW and mean Excellence in Writing...it IS confusing that the acronyms are similar! Hi Jennifer, we actually tried IEW first but my oldest really needed things broken down more incrementally for him, and Essentials does that so well. I'm intrigued by it and am wondering if anyone has used it for the high school levels. I found EIW- Essentials in Writing.
