I would like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend IIT because,my dream is to become an engineer and Dakshana is the way which leads me towards it. It`s my parents` wish as well. Once my mother told me that after class 12th they would send me to Kota for IIT-JEE preparations. I belong to a poor family and it is almost impossible to afford coaching classes like that. Still,my mother told me they would do anything for my studies ,even sell our land. Until class 9th ,I was not a brilliant child.i used to score average marks in my exams. But these words of my mother gave me courage to dream myself as a Dakshana Scholar and as an IITian.Being an IITian fulfils my parents wishes. And Dakshana is a platform to me for this. The dream for Dakshana created interest in studies for me,it gave me confidence and courage to ask questions in class. Becoming a Dakshana scholar would increase my self confidence and build my personality. It would lead me in the right path. I want to serve people because it will give me happiness and for this I need a good job,and for good job I need knowledge and perfection and threr can be no better place for that than an IIT. I desperately want to be a Dakshana Scholar and want to make my dreams come true.
