I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend IIT because I aspire to become an engineer. My financial background was not good. IIT ? It is a dream for me in the past. Not only for me, but it is to many poor students, who could not afford for proper coaching like me. But Dakshana Foundation is the gift of God for us as it had been helping us to chase our dreams. When I came to know that the Dakshana Foundation provides the scholarship to the students. I wanted to get into this foundation as Dakshana Scholar. I did it. Ifelt very happy I, sometimes, question to my self, what if I had not got ed in this foundation, what my future would be?

I aspire to become an engineer in the IIT, but my parents were not in a position to afford for me to be coached by a world-class IIT-JEE coaching institute. Our family monthly income is Rs. 2000 out of which 500 goes as house rent and some for the school fees.

Really, I am fortunate to get into this foundation. Which is helping me & my family a lot. If I'd not be a Dakshana Scholar. I could never afford any coaching and could not hopefully attend IIT. I want to improve the Standard of living of my community and my village members as we?re very poor. I hearfully thank Mohnish Sir & Hareena Madam.

In IIT-JEE 2010, the Dakshana Topper could be either Ashok Kumar (at JNV Bangalore) or Rajeev Krishna (at JNV Lucknow) or Shriman Narayan Tiwari (at JNV Cuttack). We expect all three to be in the Top 1000 IIT-JEE ranks. The best of them could be in top 500 ranks. All the very best to all the 296 scholars from Dakshana who will take the IIT-JEE in April 2010 - and especially Ashok Kumar, Rajeev Krishna and Shriman Narayan Tiwari.

For the 2010 IIT-JEE Dakshana Topper, we will support that individual to prepare and take the SAT as well as the subject SATs in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and help them to apply to top US universities.
