JNV West Champaran I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT
I'd like to become a Dakshana Scholar and hopefully attend IIT because I have a great zeal to become an engineer. But according to my will, my fate is not so good. I am a boy of poor family. My father has not so much capacity to teach me not only the institute of Kota but also near by town. It was my luck so that I got admission in Navodaya and I got an education up to XII class. I can?t do higher level study now. It is the Dakshana institute which is God for me and giving me an opportunity to study further. I am the only boy of my family, who has got the education up to XII. In my family no one is educated.
If Dakshana Foundation selects me as a Dakshana Scholar, I shall be very-very thankful and obliged to this foundation. I promise that I will get a high rank in IIT-2009 by doing hard labour. I hope that Dakshana foundation will give a chance to me. If I become a Dakshana Scholar and an IITian next year, surely I will also help all the poor boys of my village. I will also inspire them to study in a better way because Navodaya Vidyalaya and the Dakshana Foundation is giving the opportunity to poor boys for doing higher education.
We know that education makes a man perfect and also Vivekanand said ?Education is manifestation of divine perfection already existing in man?. By the education a man, a village or a country can be developed but today the education has also become a costly and massive task. A poor student of rural area, like me, can?t get good and higher education. It is toughest and massive for the poor student.
In my opinion really the Dakshana Foundation is God for me and for poor students, which is giving the opportunity to do higher education that can?t be supposed by a poor student of rural area. If I got selected as a Dakshana Scholar, I promise that I will fulfil the motto of this foundation and I will enhance its name and fame in the society and in our country.
