I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT because I have heard about IIT?s and their reputation of being the best institutions in the world. I have a keen interest in mathematics. I want to become an engineer so I have fixed my aim to get into the IIT?s. I have scored 87% marks in 10th class and have taken the science stream. Most of the students interested in science would like to get selected into the IIT after 10+2 because of the great opportunities afterwards.
Today, youngsters are more interested in jobs in the private sector over jobs in the government sector. And in the private sector, more priority is given to students from IIT in the field of engineering. Till now I was studying for the IIT exam without any coaching. It is very difficult to concentrate on school studies and prepare for the exam by oneself without any coaching. When I came to know that the Dakshana foundation was organizing an entrance exam for IIT coaching, I prepared for it and was selected. I come from a poor family who cannot afford the large fees for coaching. Dakshana foundation has given me a great stage from which I can achieve my goal. Dakshana foundation is providing us free coaching for IIT, which is very costly, even for middle class families.
I am thankful to Dakshana foundation because it has given me a chance to fulfill my dream. I will try my best in these 2 years so that I can convert this chance into success.
