Anurag Yadav

JNV Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
I'd like to become a Dakshana scholar and hopefully attend IIT

Q1. Introduce your family to us ?….Mine is a farmer family. My father cultivates the land we have. Some harvests give us a surplus amount of grains that is sold for income. My father is agraduate and mother intermediate. My mother uis a housewife and is responsible for all household chores. She helps my father on farmland and is responsible for cattles that we have.
My family is a traditional one and is not amenable to new ideas. It ,rightly, expects me to alleviate my family from persistent poverty.
I have a sister who is academically meritorious and is a 9th class student in JNV Faizabad. My younger brother is studying in 5th class and is not much inclined towards academics.
Q2. Why should you be awarded the Dakshana Scholarship ……………..In fact I have already been awarded Dakshana Scholarship as 2 year program. i could secure aseat in NIT in Information Technology. I hadqualifiedfor advanced too but it was not good enough to bedtow me aseat in IIT in a branch I want i.e. B.S. in Physics IIT Kanpur. in case i am not awarded the scholarship i would have to accept the seat that i have got in JOSAA 2019. It is abranch that is excellently economical but not my passion.
If i am awarded the scholarship I would attain the seat in IITK in Physics and would be able to work there with all fervour.
Q3. What is your ambition in life ……………..I don’t have a definite answer to this question as it is an ever evolving answer. But as per i conceive today, I don’t want to live and die inconspicuously in terms of my contribution to the world. I want to educate the masses (more precisely, help the people doing it) so that they could come out of miseries born out of poverty and lack of education.
one of my numerous dreams is to create a school that would educate in a radically different way.
In recent years i have become much desirous to contribute to society. When i see around me i find a lot needs to be changed almost all of the system.
ii want to improve them all but suddenly i realise that i can do anything but not everything. So, i don’t have a very clear vision right now.
what i can tell about my plan right now is:
1. i would contribute to science that would benefit society.
2. I am longing to make our people educated in all spheres, material and spiritual, democratic and economic, and so on….
Q5. Describe an incident in your life that has motivated/inspired you to do better……………..I would like to mention one incident that moved me that time to do better. Omne i had to get adocument to be signed by a government officer in a government office. We waited long for him. When he came he behaved very rudely to us( much of them are usual in behaving in this way to people whom they consider of low standard). so I felt very strongly a desire to be able to be in a position to change things.
Q6. Tell us about your interests and hobbies ……………..I have a large multitude of interests a few of them being learning new languages and improving those i know. I like to learn History of India and its philosophy.
Moreover, i take delight in spiritual matters related to Yoga. Literature is my hobby. I compose poems in Hindi and English and regularly write diary. I am unstopable bookworm. I read all sorts of books, literature, history, biology, philosophy etc.
