• Project Engineer

    The Project Engineer will:
    • Planning, and execution project plans within time & cost parameters.
    • Use MS Projects extensively for planning and purchase and proper utilization of all resources.
    • Submitting daily MIS reports of current project status and bottlenecks to the top management to facilitate decision-making.
    • Co-ordination and checking of drawings received from consultants.
    • Preparation of BOQ’s, verification of quantities and selection of materials in consultation with the architect.
    • Sourcing out materials, negotiations with vendors for optimum rates and quality.
    • Labour contract management.
    • Interpreting contractual obligations & rights as well as evaluating Technical / Financial problems for Management.
    • Maintain reports about procurement inventory and prepare a daily MIS on project status.
    • Ensuring proper accounting of all expenses in project, sub-head wise, as approved by senior management.

    Skills required:
    Essential work-skills include exceptional expertise in Excel & Word
    Knowledge of Auto CAD
    Degree in Civil Engineering/Architecture a must
    Prior experience in construction of educational institutions, schools, hostels, preferred
    Ability to work under pressure
    Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience
    Knowledge of Marathi is a preferred advantage

  • Dakshana Faculty

    Dakshana is looking for excellent experienced faculty who are passionate about teaching and wish to make a difference in society. The appointment will be for the academic session beginning July 2018. Preference will be given to Dakshana Alumni with teaching experience in JEE & NEET.

    About Dakshana: The Dakshana Foundation is a philanthropic organization, since 2007, focused on alleviating poverty through education. Education is the most powerful and enduring weapon to win the battle against poverty. Thus, Dakshana is focused on providing world-class educational opportunities to economically and socially disadvantaged gifted children worldwide.

    We select underprivileged students from all over the country, through a selection test, and then help them prepare for JEE Advanced and NEET free of cost for a year at the Dakshana Campus (Pune) and over two years at JNV COEs (Centres of Excellence).

    Our JNV COE locations are Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Bundi (Rajasthan), Lucknow, Kottayam (Kerala) and Silvassa.     Job Description:

    Impart curriculum in either Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology (the subject of expertise) on a day to day basis;

    Participate in curriculum preparation, planning of course delivery, conduct academic evaluation;

    Make the lesson plan engaging and enjoyable for scholars;

    Record individual classroom observations and prepare feedback/assessment reports;

    Plan, conduct, and evaluate regular assessment tests;

    Assess, create and develop content for study material, online tests and video lectures;

    Provide academic and emotional support to scholars on an individual basis to develop learning and understanding. Be able to motivate scholars to excel at the JEE/NEET;

    Keep abreast of latest developments in the pattern of the engineering and medical entrance exams and adapt to changes in delivery of the curriculum;

    Help scholars through informed discussions on career choices available to them based on their personalities.

     

    Skills:

    Should be passionate about teaching and about Dakshana.

    Should be thoroughly proficient in their subject.

    Must possess minimum 3-5 years of experience in teaching the subject of expertise.

    Should have the ability to learn, plan, multi-task and co-ordinate complex workloads.

    Must be extremely professional, reliable, diligent and punctual, have a high level of personal integrity.

    Good verbal and writing skills in English and Hindi.

    Energetic, self-motivated, helpful, co-operative, pleasing personality, positive mental attitude, ability to form a connection with each and every student; should have a fine sense of humor. Should demonstrate patience, creativity and out-of-box thinking.

    Should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

     Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience for IIT JEE/NEET batch. Freshers may also apply.

    Designation: Dakshana Faculty (JEE/NEET)

    Location: Pune, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

    Compensation: Matched to market standards.

    Selection Process: Selection process includes Resume-based-shortlisting, Skype/ Telephonic Interview, Demo lecture and Personal Interview in Pune. III-AC travel reimbursement to Pune and back will be provided to candidates.
