As of June, 2009, The Dakshana Foundation has begun to accept donations from third parties. Until June ‘09, 100% of the funding for Dakshana was provided by Harina Kapoor and Mohnish Pabrai (over $4 Million from 2006-2008). Our first outside donor was Dr. Ajay Desai, who is an Advisory Board Member.

Dr. Desai donated $25,000 in June 2009, and we are grateful for his donation. All outside donor funds are used only for the direct Dakshana Scholar program. Foundation overheads are not paid from these funds. So, any funds you donate are going directly (and 100%) to a great cause. You are making a big difference.
